Finally! My short two weeks at UM was officially ended. A very tiring weeks. Yet, we have so much fun. And I also learn something new. Leadership. I know I wasn’t a good leader. But I promise I’ll be better after this. Something need an improvement. Peace!
Throughout this NoGAPS, we as a committee members had prepared so many activities for the participants. Alhamdulillah, everything went smoothly. Even I didn’t attend some of the programs but I know my seniors and friends had done their job successfully. This program was started with the arrival of the participants. At 5pm on 9th June 2011 all the participants were gathered for the first time. We let them to know each other through Ice Breaking session. At night, an Opening Ceremony was held. Our head of department, Dr. Ibrahim *well known as Dr. Ib* was the officiator.
The second day started withWorkshop. Then participants had a Tour around UMMC *University Malaya Medical Center a.k.a. PusatPerubatanUniversiti Malaya* the place was kinda big. At the evening after solat Jumaat, we were having an Explorace. Each of the group was assigned with specific t-shirt color they have to wear. The game was exciting. They have 7 check point to go. The check point was all over UM. Our objective is to shows to the participants some places around UM.
On the next day, the participants had Community Outreach Program where all participants went to Jinjang Selangor and did social service to the committee there. It kinda good program. While at the evening, the participants having PCE Final. This program was to train the participant to become a great future pharmacists. The best participant with a high professionalism was awarded during our Gala Night. Besides, we also look for the talented future pharmacist by organized Dare To Show. All 10 groups had to perform. They can choose either to dancing, singing or acting. Some groups seems not ready. While some of them was perfectly perform.
On Sunday, all the participants had a Slot with MPS Young Pharmacists Chapter. After that they got Funny Debate, Symposium and MyPSA Annual General Meeting . Lastly we having our Gala Night as the closing ceremony. All attendance wore red attire. But black and white also accepted but must be accompany with red accessories. The theme for the night was AIDS AWARENESS.It such a great night. The most successful was the performance of Super Mario World by my friends. Two weeks training was worthwhile when their performance became the most favorite performance of the night. Congratulation to all the committee especially to the board of directors for NoGAPS 2011 at University of Malaya.
